A lakeside resort hotel, beautiful surroundings, the buffet breakast is really good; a little bit far away from downtown Guangzhou, we went to the fair in morning and came back late from bar street, did not have time to use many of the hotel facilities

Nice hotel with modern design. Rooms are clean and decent, with internet access. There are shopping facility and convenience store nearby. But the hotel is far from the main city center. Transportation is so-so.

The hotel is nice and staff are helpful. Plentiful activities and facilities at the hotel. Environment is quiet, but far from the downtown. Not recommended for vacation.

Stayed here in August 06. Very nice hotel, the NEW China. Golf course, beautiful pool, nice room, modern, internet, balcony over looking grounds. Right next door to a Chinese musuem with history and lots of antiques. Also an open air shopping facility next door. There is a convenience store among other stores where you can buy snacks, etc.

The hotel rooms, food and staff were all excellent, however I will not stay at this hotel on business again as it is very far from everything -- shopping, taxis, trains, entertainment etc therefore your transport charges to and from hotel will be very high as it is so far away. This hotel is definitely not in Guangzhou, not recommended for the business travelers at all but rather for Guangzhou Chinese family’s looking for a quite golfing holiday…

The Hotel is very large, large comfortable clean rooms, great buffet but toilets flush very slowly Air conditioning stopped working one night and had to call 3 times to get fixed correctly. The Staff tried very hard though. The hotel is over an hour taxi ride from Guanzhou airport and our trade shows. This is a better hotel for locals on vacation or a golf outing then for business travelers in my opinion.

The hotel itself is wonderful, magnificent rooms -- huge, well appointed, twin queen sized beds, great staff, views over the golf course, lake and terrace from our balcony. The staffs were very helpful and wanted to please but their standard of english was only just up to it. Our impression is that they really are aiming at the Chinese conference, trade fair, holiday resort market and that they don't get very many westerners.

Very far from the Guangzhou city you need 2hrs to reach city center. No much people speak Eng. All other things seem fine. For Business i do not recommend it at all. It’s good for Honey moon.
