Guangzhou Metro announced that the APM line will launch the first train an hour earlier as of Dec. 3.

According to the new timetable, the APM line will operate from 7am to 11pm everyday, 16 running hours in total.

The APM line, or Automated People Mover, is an automatic operating underground system which mainly serves Zhujiang New Town in Tianhe District. The line was officially opened on Nov. 8, 2010.

Covering nine stations from Linhexi to Chigang Pagoda, the line stretches for 3.49 km. It takes ten minutes to travel through the whole line. At the both terminuses, passengers can transfer to Metro Line 3.
